Riverdale hosts for College Career Signing day
Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro, TN will host their Inaugural College & Career Signing Day on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 10:00am. The entire graduating class of 2019, nearly 500 Seniors will be recognized for their post-secondary choices and accomplishments.
College Signing Days are traditionally associated with students signing athletic scholarships. Our Ceremony will provide every Senior Warrior the opportunity to be publicly celebrated. The purpose of our College & Career signing day is to recognize those seniors who have committed to serving our country, we will recognize those students who have acquired the skills necessary to be successful leaders in the workforce, and we will celebrate all students going to TCAT, as well as 2- year and 4-year Colleges/Universities.
The Day of the Event: Dr. Sidney McPhee, President of Middle Tennessee State University will be the Keynote Speaker. We will also have remarks from Dr. Michael Torrence, President of Motlow State Community College. A select number of scholarships and gift cards will be awarded! Light Refreshments and photo booth fun will be open to all students and guests immediately following ceremony.
Who’s Invited? RHS Faculty, Warrior parents & guardians, Rutherford County Board Members, RCS Director of Schools, Riverdale Alumni/community members, are all invited to attend.
