Robert Frost obituary
Mr. Robert Harold Frost, age 87 of Rockvale, TN, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was born March 9, 1931, to the late Roy and Ruby Frost. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Earlene Burns Frost, and son, Terry Lee Frost.
He is survived by his sisters, Martha Douthit, Nell Beatey, Linda Beck and her husband Jim; daughters Diane Frost Crawford and her husband Ron, Dawn Frost Jones and her husband Kenny; grandchildren, Jeremy Frost and his wife Lora, Jensi Pendergrast and her husband Chad, Jared Frost, Jessica McDaniel and her husband Tommy, Rob Williams, Victoria Williams, Daniel Jones, and Jackson Jones; and six great-grandchildren.
Harold was a 1950 graduate of Franklin High School. He enlisted in the United States Navy and served on the USS Yorktown. After a long career with Middle Tennessee Electric Corporation, he opened Jackson Ridge Beefalo with his son, Terry.
Harold was a former chairman of deacons at Patterson Baptist Church and a lifelong member. He was a member and past president of the Rockvale Ruritan Club. He coached baseball in Rockvale, Franklin, and Murfreesboro for many years. He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan.
Harold devoted his life to God, his church, and his family. All will miss him.
Visitation with the family will be held Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 12, 2018 at 12:00noon at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Tony Anderson and Benny Martin will officiate. Burial with military honors will take place in Burns Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
