Roy Waldron On-Site Job Fair this Wednesday
$4,000 signing incentives, same day hiring available; multiple Rutherford schools hiring for positions now
Roy Waldron Elementary will be hosting an on-site job fair Wednesday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. and will be offering $4,000 in incentives for new certified staff.
“Bring a resume and your work history,” said Roy Waldron Elementary’s Assistant Principal Steven Wright. “Dress to impress. We will be hiring on-site and signing contracts on-site.”
Roy Waldron is currently hiring for multiple teaching positions, but is also hiring custodians, SPED instructors and educational assistants.
For applicants who may have different scheduling needs, or who are looking for non-standard hours of employment, Wright says the school will do its best to work with candidates to accommodate them.
“Come with information about your schedule. For some positions, such as those in custodial or for educational assistants, we may be able to work with you on your schedule and availability,” Wright said.
For the 2023-2024 school year, and for all new certified staff hired at Roy Waldron Elementary, there is a $4,000 incentive available.
The job fair at Roy Waldron will be open door and candidates are encouraged to arrive early for potential interviews, as jobs will be offered to qualified applicants throughout the day.

Rutherford County Schools is offering multiple signing bonuses across all its schools, and for multiple positions, including signing options for student-teachers and MTSU residency students.
All current and new certified staff at La Vergne Middle, La Vergne High and Roy Waldron qualify for a $4,000 incentive.
Signing bonuses are also available for 6-12 math, English, ESL, Chemistry, Physics, world languages and special education (including social workers, school psychologist, speech language pathologists, and BCBA with board certification).
