Salura McDaniel obituary

Salura Kate Hunter McDaniel, age 80 of LaVergne died Saturday November 10, 2018. She was a native of Wilson County and was preceded in death by her husband Jerry McDaniel; parents, John Carmack Hunter, Lee Isla Eakes Hunter, siblings, John Carmack Hunter, Jr., Helen Hunter Hale Leonard, Norma “Sparky” Hunter, Flora Jean Pope. Mrs. McDaniel was member of Burnette Chapel Church of Christ and was a retired Administrate Assistant with Lance, Tennessee Mechanical, Tennessee Book Company. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Mrs. McDaniel is survived by her daughter; Stephanie Anderson and husband Joe of LaVergne; grandchildren; Kathryn Gish and husband Terry of LaVergne, Hunter Anderson of LaVergne; great-grandchildren; Ryleigh, Raegan, Rhiannon; siblings, Lonnie James Hunter and wife Charlene of LaVergne, Brenda Faye Gleaves and husband Larry of Hermitage; and several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and special friends she loved dearly.

Visitation will be 10:00AM until 1:00PM Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service will be 1:00PM Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Brother, Bill Hunter and Brother, Joey Spann will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. www.woodfinchapel.com
