Murfreesboro Shooting Death on E. Vine Street

Murfreesboro Police Department detectives are investigating what lead to the shooting death of a man Saturday morning March 9.

Officers were dispatched to a home in the 1100 block of E. Vine Street just before 10 a.m. The 23-year-old male victim was found on the back porch of the home shot multiple times. He was taken to Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital where he later died from his injuries. A person of interest has been taken into custody. Charges could be pending.

The investigation is ongoing by the Criminal Investigations Division.
