Siegel FFA Places in Competitions
Siegel High School FFA member Macie Rhinehart competed at the Tennessee State Fair in Nashville this September, winning third place in the state for Dairy Handling, a part of the Dairy Cattle Management and Evaluation Career Development Event.
Siegel’s Horse Evaluation Team won first in the district and fourth in the state during the September 17th competition held at Miller Coliseum. FFA members who participate in the National Horse Evaluation CDE evaluate and rank horses based on breed characteristics, conformation, and performance while defending their decisions before a panel of judges. Siegel High School’s horse judging team was comprised of Isabella Lumley, Kailyn Kosko, Liza McQueen, and Rilie Maupin with alternates Jenna Ghee, Mekayla Gilliam, and Addyson Grant.
