Siegel High School Excels at HOSA State Competition

Siegel High School took 36 students to Knoxville to compete at the annual HOSA State Leadership Conference. Siegel students competed in 20 out of 50 different events against 2,600 other competitors. Laney Marlatt campaigned and was elected as a state officer, Middle Tennessee HOSA Vice President for 2023-2024. Ensley Baird and Madison Whitworth placed 3rd in CERT Skills. Ally Mersh placed 3rd in Clinical Specialty. Ensley, Madison, and Ally all qualify for international competition in Dallas this summer. State Finalist Ronald Whitmore placed 5th in Healthy Lifestyle. Students placing in the top 12 include Reeyan Ahmed and Hannah Roeger (EMT), Brianna Johnson (Sports Medicine), Devan Rogers (Health Career Photography), Holly Xiao, Owen Maynard, and Jackson Ferry (Biomedical Debate), and Avery Tuseth, Katie Hodge, and Haley Pippin (Creative Problem Solving).
