Siegel High School Ides of March learning experience
Siegel sophomore English students experienced a day of fun celebrating the Ides of March at the completion of theirJulius Caesar study. The brainchild of Beth Bream, teachers Jennifer Gobelet, Chrissy Grisham, and Bream worked tirelessly behind the scenes planning the day. Students rotated at stations set up in the library—eulogies were written and read by students, a war tent housed a ROAR Augmented Reality using interactive software to learn about famous Romans, the fall of the Roman Empire was depicted on video, Julius Caesar Follett Lightbox software was available on computers, and plenty of Roman foods was enjoyed by all.
