Siegel High Students Take First Place at National Beta Convention
National Beta Convention, originally planned for June in Fort Worth, Texas, became a virtual affair like many others. Siegel High School rising senior Beta members Whitman Czajkowski and Luke Blain submitted their video entry for the Technology category with high hopes for winning as they had taken first place in the state competition this past November.
In order to create their video for Siegel Beta and other Siegel events, Czajkowski is the software guy focusing on producing and editing while Blain focuses on the hardware. A National Beta judge was so impressed with the video that she reached out to Czajkowski to inquire about the programs used in creating the “Seeing Beta Clearly” Beta-themed video.
According to Whitman Czajkowski, “It was a blast making this video for the National Beta Club. I use software applications everyday as I generate most of the content for our high school, and I have created projects for organizations such as NCAA, Apex Fundraising, TSSAA (TN High School Athletics), and other organizations. I also am the broadcasting expert at Siegel and started the audio/visual team for our morning announcements, sporting contests, performing arts, and other special events such as college signings and graduation.”
