Smyrna Mayor Reed Shares Details on the Town’s Biggest Fireworks Event Ever

Join us as we sit down with Smyrna Mayor Mary Esther Reed to talk about one of the town's biggest events of the year, the Smyrna Independence Day Celebration.

The free family-friendly event takes place on Thursday, July 2, at Lee Victory Recreation Park and features an evening full of fun including:

  • Live music from Rubiks Groove
  • Food vendors
  • Inflatables for the kids
  • One of the biggest fireworks shows in Smyrna history
  • Free admission

The festivities begin at 5:00 PM, with Rubiks Groove taking the stage around 5:45 PM. Fireworks are scheduled to begin around 9:00 PM.

Parking will be available at Lee Victory Recreation Park, with overflow parking at the Smyrna Event Center and nearby golf course. Please do not park on Sam Ridley Parkway.

If you can't attend in person, Stewart's Creek TV will livestream the fireworks on the Town of Smyrna's Facebook page.
