Stewarts Creek High School Students Engage Opportunities Through Video Production Class
Stewarts Creek Television is preparing students for life after high school by helping them gather real-world experience in the live event coverage and broadcast television industry.
Under the direction of Chris Bissinger, a graduate of LaVergne High School and a veteran of the live event industry that’s booming in the Nashville market, these students have been providing video production services all over Rutherford County, including complete coverage of the Smyrna Christmas parade, middle school basketball tournaments, and during the pandemic, they produced and broadcast graduation ceremonies for several of Rutherford County high schools.
The students have earned several accolades and awards for their work, and this summer, some of them will work at CMA Fest in Nashville thanks to a mentorship program Bissinger has nurtured through his industry contacts.
