STHS SLEEP CENTER LLC ACQUIRES SERENITY SLEEP LAB LLC IN GALLATIN

 STHS Sleep Center, LLC has acquired Serenity Sleep Lab LLC at 1525 Hunt Club Boulevard in Gallatin, Tenn.  The Lab will be renamed the Center for Sleep at Sumner County and brings the number of locations for the Saint Thomas Health Center for Sleep to six in the Nashville metropolitan area. Saint Thomas Health is part of Ascension, the nation’s largest Catholic and non-profit health system.

 

            “We want our patients in Sumner and Robertson counties and the surrounding communities to have a convenient location for their diagnostic sleep studies,” said Edward Giannotti, Administrator and Chief Operations Officer, STHS Sleep Center, LLC, in announcing the acquisition.

 

            The facility is a four-bed sleep center providing in-center and out-of-center diagnostic sleep studies.  Dr. William Faith, Serenity Sleep Lab’s medical director, will stay on as a staff physician.  Dr. Stephen Heyman is the Center’s Medical Director.

 

The Saint Thomas Health Sleep Center was established in 2006 to help patients return to a restful night’s sleep. Additional locations for the Sleep Center are in Nashville, Murfreesboro, Mt. Juliet, Spring Hill and McMinnville.

 

“We have the most experienced clinical and technical staff in the region with a combined experience of more than 350 years,” Giannotti added.  “Our patients are guided by sleep physicians and technologists who also are specialists in pulmonary, neurological, psychiatric, behavioral and pediatric services.
