Stones River National Battlefield Pavement Preservation Project to Continue

Contractors are expected to complete pavement preservation work that began last fall. Beginning on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, visitors should expect periodic closures of the Redoubt Brannan and Visitor Center parking lots during the week.

If weather permits, all paved areas in the Visitor Center parking lot will be closed to the public on April 19, 2022. The public will be directed to park in our overflow parking area using a temporary access road. Visitors requiring accessible parking should enter the park at 1563 North Thompson Lane. They will be directed to a temporary accessible parking location.

Access to paved parking near the Visitor Center will be limited throughout the week until the work is complete.
