Teri Herron Joins MFRD as New Logistics Manager
Murfreesboro Fire Rescue is pleased to announce an addition to the MFRD family, Teri Herron. Teri is the department’s new Logistics Manager, selected from a list of qualified applicants.
Teri came to the department from the Tennessee Fire and Codes Academy, where she has spent the last fourteen years managing supplies and equipment. Herron brings with her an additional multiple years of experience in manufacturing logistic management. The position is the first of its kind for MFRD and her responsibilities include but are not limited to purchasing and overall management of the department’s safety equipment, apparatus, uniforms, and facilities.
Chief Foulks says” With the continued growth of Murfreesboro and public safety, it has become crucial to have in place an organized system to protect the resources that have been afforded to our citizens by the city leadership. I believe that Teri brings a lot to the department with her experience and tenacity.”
Teri’s first day began this week and she says “I am really excited for the opportunity to work at an amazing department, and for the ability to grow with not only MFRD, but the City of Murfreesboro as well!”
Teri is a resident of Murfreesboro and spends her free time working out, kick boxing, and hiking.
