The Center for the Arts Reveals 2024 Season
The Center for the Arts is pleased to reveal their 2024 Season.
The 2024 Center for the Arts season consists of ten main stage shows and four that are a part of their new “Community Enrichment” series of shows.
“We are thrilled to bring these shows to life here on our Center’s stage. We have a phenomenal line-up and there is truly something for everyone in our community. Our new ‘Community Enrichment’ series of shows particularly will aid us in the elements of our mission that are focused on cultural and economic enrichment”, shares Executive Director Regina Ward.
2024 Season at The Center for the Arts:
- Little Shop of Horrors — January 12-28, 2024
- Death of a Salesman – February 9, 2024 – February 18, 2024
- Dear Miss Barrett* – March 4-10, 2024
- Bring It On – March 22 – April 7, 2024
- Rock of Ages – May 10-26, 2024
- Big Fish – June 14-30, 2024
- Tick, Tick Boom* – July 12-21, 2024
- Tarzan – July 19-28, 2024
- Arsenic & Old Lace – August 16-25, 2024
- A Raisin in The Sun* – September 13-22, 2024
- Pippin – October 4-20, 2024
- Beautiful – November 8-24, 2024
- You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown – December 6-15, 2024
- White Christmas* – December 6-8, 2024
*Denotes our “Community Enrichment” series. These shows include Dear Miss Barrett, which was written by local Michael Kurek, who is the sitting Composer Laureate of our state. This piece is historical fiction and is slated to also have an educational companion piece for high school classrooms, and the composer will sit for Q&As with audience members pre-show; Tick, Tick Boom is geared toward a younger demographic of theatrical artists who have followed this show’s inception as it chronicles the writing of the Broadway sensation, RENT; A Raisin in the Sun will be offered for student and community audiences alike; and finally in this series will close with White Christmas, as the Center for the Arts strives to create a holiday tradition for theatre goers and the community at large by offering this classic as a staple in early December annually starting in December 2023.
