The Salvation Army Welcomes Steven Cade’s “Giving Guitar Tour” to Murfreesboro Campus
Modern country artist Steven Cade has partnered with Brent Yates, co-founder of Restore Us, to raise awareness of the importance of music by donating guitars to inspire those in need. His “Giving Guitars Tour” visits shelters across the country that offer transitional housing and other services to families and individuals experiencing homelessness. Cade tours the facility, interacts with the residents, donates guitars, and does a live performance.
Next week, Mr. Cade will visit The Salvation Army in Murfreesboro to bring new hope and healing through music. Monday, March 21st, Mr. Cade will be visiting 1137 W Main St, Murfreesboro, TN 37129 at 4 p.m., where he will visit with staff and residents and deliver guitars and do a mini-concert.
“The Salvation Army means hope to so many people who have been through disasters, lost their homes, and just need guidance to get back on their feet,” Steven said. “I love what the organization stands for, and I just want to be a part of it.”
His goal is to provide more guitars to Salvation Army shelters around the country so that clients can be inspired by music. “The guitar is such a powerful tool,” Steven said. “Imagine if people in shelter learn to play, write songs, and perform for others. The possibilities are endless, and it will bring joy to their lives.”
