Thieves Pull Off High Dollar Jewelry Heist

Murfreesboro Police Detectives are trying to track down the men who allegedly pulled off high-dollar jewelry heists at Sam’s Clubs from Tennessee to Illinois, including one in Murfreesboro on Thursday, Oct. 17.

Officers responded to an alarm call from Sam’s Club, 125 John R. Rice Blvd., around 1:11 a.m. on Oct. 17. Upon arrival they discovered the front sliding and interior doors had been busted out.

Two men were captured on video stealing jewelry from display cases, stuffing the items into two large bags. They got away with more than $147,000 worth of jewelry. This is the largest profit to date.

They were last seen running from the store towards a nearby apartment complex.

The individuals visited the store the day before (Oct. 16) casing the jewelry counter. They only spent three minutes inside the store. They were seen leaving in an older model gold Lincoln Navigator.

If you have any information as to the identities of the persons involved, call Detective Wes Hall at (629) 201-5611.
