TriStar Stonecrest Welcomes Natalie Whitmer as New Chief Operating Officer
Natalie Whitmer, MBA, MHA, has been appointed chief operating officer (COO) of TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center.
As COO, Whitmer will be responsible for the daily operations of the hospital, while ensuring efficient services are delivered to meet the needs of the community.

Whitmer comes to TriStar StoneCrest from Regional Medical Center in Florida, where she served as the Vice President of Operations, Ethics & Compliance Officer, and Emergency Management Operations. As Vice President of Operations, Whitmer provided administrative leadership over imaging, rehab, laboratory, food and nutrition, and environmental services. She was responsible for building and developing a neuroscience service line, a head & neck oncology program, and improving hospital throughput by operationalizing a discharge lounge and optimizing ancillary support services. Whitmer began her HCA career as the Assistant Vice President of Strategy and Program Development for the HCA West Florida Division and was responsible for the Division strategic plan, telehealth program operations, and multiple service line development projects. Before serving in the West Florida Division, she was the Director of Administrative Projects at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
Whitmer holds a Master’s of Business Administration degree from Louisiana Tech University and a Master’s of Healthcare Administration degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
