Two Murfreesboro men charged in triple murder

Two men were arrested in Rutherford County and two other suspects were arrested in Canoga Park, California Wednesday and Thursday in connection with a triple murder April 18 in Glendale, California, authorities said.

Suspects John Poh, 23, and Jordon Byrd, 22, of Murfreesboro were arrested Wednesday in Rutherford County. Detectives from the Glendale Police Department detectives assisted the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office, Murfreesboro Police and the FBI in taking the men into custody.

Co-defendants Franklin Sadler, 23, and Jacob Jamora, 23 were both arrested Thursday in their respective homes in Canoga Park, California. Glendale Police detectives took the men into custody with the assistance of the United States Marshal’s, Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force.

Agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigations, Nashville and Los Angeles Field Offices, assisted in the investigation.

Detectives believe this was a targeted home invasion robbery turned murder.

All four men have been booked on three counts of murder.

Rutherford County Sheriff’s Capt. Britt Reed said Glendale Police detectives worked with the sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division, Narcotics Unit and SWAT Team, Murfreesboro Police and the FBI’s Nashville Office to apprehend the suspects in Rutherford County.

After surveillance, both suspects were taken into custody.

Teams of officers searched their homes.

“This was a tremendous collaborative effort on the part of all agencies involved to ensure these murder suspects were taken into custody without any danger to residents,” Reed said.
