Walter Hill shooting investigation
Rutherford County Sheriff detectives and deputies are still on scene at a reported home invasion that left both the resident and apparent perpetrator suffering gunshot wounds.
The alleged perpetrator has just been transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the resident is still being treated at Stonecrest Medical Center in Smyrna.
This is an open and active investigation and more information will be released when appropriate.
