Wanted Aggravated Burglary suspect arrested

On February 18, 2019, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Murfreesboro Police detectives, with the assistance of the patrol division, arrested wanted aggravated burglary suspect, Quentin Dewey Pittman, 31, during a traffic stop on S. Church Street.

Pittman, who has a history of fleeing from law enforcement, attempted to elude capture by ramming his vehicle into an unmarked police vehicle, and causing a traffic accident. He was then apprehended and placed into custody.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is conducting the crash investigation.

Pittman was wanted on outstanding warrants for his part in multiple residential burglaries. Additionally, he has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault, resisting arrest and felony possession of Schedule VI.
