World Outreach Church kicks off Christmas festivities Nov 30
World Outreach Church invites the community to come celebrate the Christmas season throughout the month of December at a series of special events for adults and children.
“It’s a wonderful time of year, and we created these events to celebrate the birth of Jesus – and to give the community a way to make fun Christmas memories with their friends and family,” said Pastor Allen Jackson.
The festivities begin on November 30, when the ice rink opens to the public on a first-come, first served basis. On December 1, the church will transform into a winter wonderland for preschoolers through elementary-aged children. The afternoon includes crafts, games, ice skating, snow tubing, train rides, a living manger, and more—along with two separate presentations of “Frosty the Snowman” by the WOC teen choir. On December 8, enjoy “A Little Drummer Boy Christmas”—a special night of rhythmic Christmas music featuring drums and choreography by Stikyard along with World Outreach Church Worship. The WOC Kids Choir presents “The Loaned Manger,” a high-spirited musical that celebrates Christmas in the Wild West, on December 15. The church will also host special guest artists The Katinas and Mike Weaver during the month.
