MTSU Welcomes Students Back With a Week of Campus Events
Middle Tennessee State University kicked off the new semester with a full week of activities designed to help students reconnect with campus life and build new relationships.
Events at the Student Union Commons included the Back to School Bonanza, Meet Murfreesboro, the first-ever Provost's Picnic, and Crash the Commons. Students enjoyed food, games, music, giveaways, and opportunities to meet local businesses, faculty, staff, university leaders, and fellow Blue Raiders.
University leaders say the first week is especially important for helping new students feel connected, get comfortable on campus, and start the semester with a strong sense of community.
