MTSU and WKU Face Off in Annual 100 Miles of Hope Blood Drive November 2-4
Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) is teaming up with the American Red Cross for the annual 100 Miles of Hope Blood Drive, taking place November 2-4 on the MTSU campus in Murfreesboro.
The three-day event brings together the MTSU Blue Raiders and Conference USA rival Western Kentucky University (WKU) Hilltoppers for a friendly competition to see which university community can collect the most blood donations and claim the coveted 100 Miles of Hope challenge trophy.
While the competition adds some school spirit to the event, the ultimate goal is to help save lives by encouraging blood donations.
