Home School Science Series: Forests, Trees and Decomposition

A hands-on forest-science morning at the Wilderness Station built for homeschool families, covering how a woodland actually recycles itself – leaf litter, fungi, rot and all the small creatures doing the work. Sessions run in two age bands, roughly 5 to 8 and 9 to 12, so the material lands at the right level. $5 per child and registration is required; this one fills.
