DVSAC to host Costumes for a Cause fundraiser
The Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Center (DVSAC) will host Costumes for a Cause on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Warehouse.
The fundraiser will bring the community together for an evening of line dancing, karaoke, costumes, and entertainment while raising funds to support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
The event will feature line dancing with an instructor, spooky karaoke, and a pay-to-vote costume contest, where every $1 donated equals one vote. Admission includes lite bites and refreshments. No line dancing experience is required.
Every ticket purchased and dollar donated will help DVSAC provide critical services to individuals and families affected by domestic violence and sexual assault, including emergency shelter, advocacy, resources, and compassionate support.
Domestic violence can impact people from all walks of life. Costumes for a Cause gives the community a chance to have fun while supporting survivors on their journey toward safety, healing, and hope.
Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite costumes, grab their dancing shoes, and invite friends to join them for an evening of fun with a purpose.
