DR. KELLY DAVIS AND DR. TOBEY SCHULTZ JOIN SAINT THOMAS RUTHERFORD HOSPITAL IN MURFREESBORO
Kelly Davis, M.D. has joined Saint Thomas Heart – Rutherford at 1840 Medical Center Parkway, Murfreesboro and Tobey Schultz, D.O. has joined Saint Thomas Medical Partners – New Salem Care Center at 2723 New Salem Road, Murfreesboro.
Dr. Davis is an interventional cardiologist and is board certified in internal medicine and internal medicine, cardiovascular disease. She is a Nashville native and received her medical degree from Meharry Medical College School of Medicine in Nashville followed by her residency in internal medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.. Dr. Davis completed fellowships in both interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She co-authored multiple academic articles. Dr. Davis and husband reside in Murfreesboro with their two daughters and enjoys reading, ballet, tap and jazz dancing, watching football and roller-skating.
Dr. Schultz, Family Medicine, is board certified in family medicine She is a Murfreesboro native and was born at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, now Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital.. She attended Middle Tennessee State University in her undergrad studies and while there played NCAA Division 1 women’s soccer. Dr. Schultz holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from MTSU in chemistry and mass communications. She received her osteopathic degree from Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine at Harrogate, Tenn. She completed her family medicine residency at Lewis Gale Hospital Montgomery Graduate Medical Program in Blacksburg, Va., where she was Chief Resident. Dr. Schultz is excited to return to Murfreesboro near family and friends.
