Firefighter injured in morning fire
This morning at 4:30 am RCFR responded to a structure fire at a single-story home at on Keystone Road. Upon arrival, heavy smoke and flames were visible from the structure. The fire was successfully extinguished. After a fire at the same location the day before, the power had been turned off and no residents were home at the time. Both occurrences are currently under investigated. One firefighter was transported by EMS for care, with non-life-threatening injuries. Almaville VFD, and Kittrell VFD assisted on scene.
