Job fair looking to fill over 250 jobs
The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 2955 S. Church St. in Murfreesboro will host a job fair from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, for 16 employers seeking to fill more than 250 positions in Rutherford, Williamson, Coffee and Wilson counties.
Employers include Stones River Center, Senior Solutions Home Care, Luttrell Staffing Group, Onin Staffing, Hire Dynamics, Elwood Staffing, Universal Logistics, Senior Helpers, YMCA Fun Company, Hamilton- Ryker Staffing, Marelli (formerly Calsonic), Murfreesboro City Schools, Milwood Staffing, Averus, Gateway Tire and Goodwill.
Openings include lube and tire tech, general production, forklift, driver, welding, press, pallet repair, caregiver, call Center, clerical, administrative, reach truck operator, child care, warehouse, custodian and other positions. Rates of pay reach $18 per hour.
Representatives from these companies will be on-site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth certificate.
