La Vergne Memorial May Rally
This Saturday, Carry the Load will be making a stop in La Vergne at Bicentennial Park. Participants are welcome to join in and can meet at the Post Office on Murfreesboro Road. Walkers will leave the Jeff Kuss Memorial around 4:00 p.m. and expect to be at Bicentennial Park by 5:30 p.m.
Please note that LPD will be assisting with traffic diversion on Murfreesboro Road to keep all of the walkers safe as they make their way through town.
Come join us as we stop in La Vergne, TN along the New England Route of the 2022 National Relay. We will meet at the Captain Jeff Kuss USMC Memorial for a walk to honor the sacrifices of our nation’s heroes.
- 3:45 PM Meet at The Captain Jeff Kuss USMC Memorial, 102 Sam Ridley Pkwy E, Smyrna, TN 37167
- 4:00 PM Begin the 4.5 mile walk with the Carry The Load Relay Team to City of La Vergne City Hall, 5093 Murfreesboro Rd, La Vergne, TN 37086
- 7:00 PM See the relay team off as they continue the journey to Dallas, TX
