Rosenel Hinesly Bequette obituary

Rosenel Hinesly Bequette, age 96, passed away June 18, 2018 at Adams Place in Murfreesboro, TN. She was born July 8, 1921 in Aurora, Mo. to the late Monroe M. and Sallie Wilson Hinesly. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Gerald Hinesly, Iantha Hinesly Crigler, Willis “Wick” Hinesly, Joseph Hinesly, John “Jay” Hinesly, and her grandson M. Trace Harber.

Rosenel is survived by her 4 children Daniel Haile and his wife Sandra of Troy, MO, Vicki Griffon of Moscow Mills, MO, Sandra Gleaves of Murfreesboro, TN, and Donna Bequette of Merrimack, NH, 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

During her young years, her family lived in Lawrence, KS. Struggling to survive through the Great Depression they moved to the Ozark Mountains near Salesville, AR. Her daddy moved them several times to keep them afloat finally landing in Dyess, AR. A significant moment in Rosenel’s youth was when she was baptized in the Norfork River. It solidified her Christian faith which remained strong throughout her life.

Rosenel lived the majority of her life in St. Louis, MO. She was a single mom who worked and raised her four children. As time moved on she retired and moved to Troy, MO to be near family. By 2011, her final years were spent at Adams Place in Murfreesboro, TN. where she was lovingly cared for by her daughter, Sandra, the staff at Adams Place and Caris Hospice.

We are sure right now she is joyfully reuniting with all that have gone before her. Godspeed, Mom, we miss you and love you.
