September 11th Remembrance Ceremony

Citizens, emergency responders and military personnel who lost their lives as a result of the 9-11 terrorists’ attacks will be memorialized in a Remembrance Ceremony Monday.

 

The event will be at noon near the 9-11 Memorial at the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office at 940 New Salem Highway in Murfreesboro.

 

Chief Jon Maggard of Police Service at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System will be the keynote speaker.

 

Honor Guards will perform a solemn tribute to the victims of the attacks.

 

Sheriff Mike Fitzhugh invited the community to attend to remember the people “who gave the ultimate sacrifice of their lives” to protect America.
