Main Street Murfreesboro Friday Night Live October 16

Main Street Murfreesboro invites the community to our free Friday Night Live concert on the east side of the Historic Downtown Square on Friday, October 16.

The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with a performance by Matthias Lamparter and band, who will entertain the crowd with an energetic mix of Southern and Classic Rock with a little Country backed by a brass band until 9:30 p.m.

“We are excited to add a Friday Night Live concert to the schedule on October 16, bringing Matthias Lamparter to the stage with a full horns backup to perform all your favorite classic rock and country songs,” said Sarah Callender, Executive Director of Main Street Murfreesboro.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy dinner at one of downtown's locally owned restaurants and shop with local merchants before the concert begins.

Event attendees should bring lawn chairs for seating. Plenty of free parking is available in the County and City's two downtown parking garages and in public parking lots surrounding the square.

To accommodate the event, the Murfreesboro Public Square will close to vehicle traffic at 5:00 p.m. Drivers should remove all vehicles from the east side of the square before the closure begins. Streets will reopen at 9:30 p.m. The concert stage will be situated on the East side of the Historic Rutherford County Courthouse, with seating allowed along Church and East Main Street, as well as around the courthouse. Porta-potties are available in the parking lot off East Main Street, in the former Bank of America lot.

Friday Night Live is free and open to the public.
