Rutherford County Republican Party Mayoral Debate 2026

Candidates Randy Allen, Joe Carr, and Craig Harris took the stage to discuss some of the biggest issues facing the county, including rapid growth, infrastructure, economic development, taxes, and the future of the Middle Point landfill.

The event opened with remarks from Rutherford County GOP board member Ross Bradley, who welcomed the crowd and highlighted the strong turnout both in person and online. Bradley also thanked viewers watching through multiple live streams and encouraged voters to stay informed about the candidates ahead of the upcoming election.
